You can register for the competition at the dedicated info desk which will be opened on Friday , Saturday.
IMPORTANT: In order to register for the competition, along with the entry fee, you must have a FULL PASS for the Balkan Salsa Congress!

Competition Rules
Purpose:
The purpose of this competition is to provide an opportunity for all couples and teams to present their latin style dance in the best possible way both amatiors and professionals. TWO couples/teams having highest score will be rewarded from each devision at the end.
There is a good reason for having two winners from each division. The difference between 1st and 2nd place is usually minimal and judgement who is better is always controvercial.
For this reason we think both couples/teams deserve to be awarded.
Divisions:
- Division „Salsa L.A. on 1 / N.Y. on 2 - Couples“
- Division „Bachata - Couples“
- Division „Salsa Rueda de Casino / L.A. - Teams“
Salsa L.A. on 1 / N.Y. on 2 - Couples:
Eligable for this division are all couples regardless of the level. A choreography with duration 2 minutes must be prepared. Couples will present freestyle dance and their choreography after that. There is no limitation for dance tricks!
Bachata - Couples:
Eligable for this division are all couples regardless of the level. A choreography with duration 2 minutes must be prepared. Couples will present freestyle dance and their choreography after that. There is no limitation for dance tricks!
Salsa Rueda de Casino / L.A. - Teams:
Eligable for this division are all teams regardless of the level. A choreography with duration 2 minutes must be prepared. There is no limitation for dance tricks!
Requirements:
Divisions "Salsa L.A. on 1 / N.Y. on 2 - Couples" and "Bachata - Couples".
- Music must be at least 80% salsa/bachata. Mixing of up to 3 songs is allowed.
- Couples in the Salsa division must dance either on 1 or on 2. The selected rhythm must be kept throughout the whole dance.
- Performing of any tricks is allowed.
- Each couple must prepare their show music in MP3 format on USB stick or, if not possible, on Audio CD. Each CD must contain only the track for the corresponding show.
- Stage costumes are required.
Division "Salsa Rueda de Casino / L.A. - Teams".
- Music must be at least 80% salsa/bachata. Mixing of up to 3 songs is allowed.
- Performing of any tricks is allowed.
